Problem
When configuring Role-Based Administration using Ivanti EPM, you may run into a situation where the role you use is changing its settings. This can cause issues with users being able to access certain functions in the console.
Cause
Any of the default roles and will revert to its defaults whenever you run createlandeskrights.exe. Activating your core server could do the same thing since it runs that command.
Solution
To prevent this from happening, please create a new role. You can clone default roles and give them a new name, which will prevent this from occurring.
